If you had a positive pregnancy test at home or think you might be pregnant, we can help.
We understand that pregnancy can bring with it many different emotions, especially if it comes at an unexpected time. If you’re unsure of your next steps, we’re here for you. After confirming your pregnancy, we can help you explore your choices, find resources and feel supported.
Some of the common signs of early pregnancy:
- Missing a menstrual period
- Swollen or tender breasts
- The need to urinate frequently
- Changes in appetite
- Nausea or vomiting
- Fatigue
Our medical staff at Blue Ridge Women’s Center provides free pregnancy testing. Our lab-quality urine tests can detect pregnancy as early as 7-14 days after conception.
We recognize that it can feel overwhelming to make a decision about your pregnancy.
We can provide information about all three of your pregnancy options, so you can make a fully-informed choice. We can share information and resources about parenting, adoption, and abortion.
Abortion
Parenting
Adoption
There are numerous supports available for you if you choose to carry your pregnancy and parent. We do not facilitate adoptions but can provide information and resources about this option. While we also do not provide or refer for abortions, we can give you information about the process and procedures so you can make a decision that you feel is best for you. Although this may be a difficult time, please know that you are not alone. There is hope!
